I basically draw a picture with pencils, then i scan this into photoshop where i add colour layers, and then layers of texture and shade :)
I don't ever really use illustrator

I’m sorry for the late answer. I love your drawings and thanks for telling me what software you use. I’m still learning photoshop brushes, I do things mostly in illustrator, including Mesh. And I guess that doing things with mesh tool takes longer time than with photoshop brush, but I love it O_o
